This Online Safety and Code of Conduct for Online Learning outlines our expectations for responsible behaviour, online safety practices, and the appropriate use of online platforms and resources during our online learning sessions.

Online Safety Practices

Digital Etiquette:

Participants must engage in online interactions with respect and courtesy towards others, using polite and appropriate language.

Privacy and Confidentiality:

Do not share personal information, such as addresses, phone numbers, or other private details, during online sessions.

Account Security:

Protect your login credentials and report any suspected security breaches immediately to Natematics Ltd.

Online Meetings:

Use secure and monitored online platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Classroom, Diagnostic Questions) provided by Natematics Ltd. for learning sessions.

Reporting Concerns:

Report any inappropriate behaviour, cyberbullying, or safety concerns to your tutor or Natematics Ltd. staff immediately.

Code of Conduct for Online Learning

Participation and Engagement:

Actively engage in online learning activities and discussions.

Attend online sessions punctually and inform your tutor in advance if you are unable to attend.

Respect for Others:

Be respectful of diverse opinions, backgrounds, and perspectives.

Avoid disruptive behaviour or comments that may offend or harm others.

Academic Integrity:

Do not engage in cheating, plagiarism, or any form of academic dishonesty. Give proper credit to sources and cite references when applicable.

Prohibited Content:

Do not share or display inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content during online sessions, including but not limited to explicit language, images, or videos.

Recording and Sharing:

Obtain consent from the tutor and other participants before recording any online sessions.

Do not share recorded sessions without permission.

Technical Issues:

Be patient and understanding of technical difficulties that may arise during online learning.

Notify your tutor or Natematics Ltd. staff promptly if you encounter technical issues that hinder your participation.

Compliance with Policies:

Adhere to Natematics Ltd.’s policies and guidelines, including this Online Safety and Code of Conduct for Online Learning.

Consequences of Violations

Violation Assessment:

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in appropriate disciplinary actions, which may include warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from online learning programs, depending on the severity of the violation.

Reporting Violations:

Natematics Ltd. tutors and staff will report violations of this Code of Conduct to the appropriate authorities if necessary.

Appeals:

Individuals subject to disciplinary actions have the right to appeal the decision following Natematics Ltd.’s appeals process.
