Anyone who comes to Natematics Tuition HQ gets the added benefit of Stevie, the resident “maths therapy cat” .
I always check with new students if they are ok with cats. I do have a couple of students who are not overly fond of them so I always ensure they are kept out of the office.
Stevie knows which students love him. And this particular Higher Level OCR year 11 student is one.
He appeared half way through the lesson and jumped on the desk.
Watched my student intently mastering a construction.
Then, as we were about to do a question from my past exam paper folder, he literally sprawled out on top of it 🤣🤣🙈🙈
We both laughed.
It’s nearly 7 years since we got Stevie from the RSPCA in Radcliffe, Nottinghamshire. And boy what a character he is.
