On International Women’s Day I could speak about the amazing work so many of us women do.
And WE do.
However today is 73 years since our Mum was born. 8th March.
Mum’s birthday.
It’s only been 7½ months since she passed and for me, today is about Mum. I’ve barely had much time to reflect / grieve /remember Mum after *that* year. Although I do think of her every day.
Mum’s first birthday without her being here.
Mum didn’t find life easy. But she always did her best. And certainly loved us.
So this International Women’s Day for me is all about Mum. And I will be giving myself the time and space just for her. And buying something for me in lieu of her birthday. I think she’ll like it❤️
